Pardew v Allardyce Manager comparison after 163 in charge

One of the other Hammer's sites has done a stat thing on our current manager and fan's favourite Alan Pardew after both have managed our club for 163 games after the Hull game.
Interesting really, as it proves Big Sam has done a good job, especially as most of his games have been in the top flight, unlike Pards

Looks very even there. But to be honest both have done a pretty good job for us.

Pardew managed more games in the Championship so it's not really a fair comparison for me.

Sam has done everything asked of him in regards to promotion and stabilizing the club back in the prem.
If it weren't for his love in with Nolan (who himself has done enough for the club to not be treated how he is) and some of his prehistoric football, the bloke would probably be extremely popular.

Yeah, an extra season in the Championship for Pardew playing Doncaster and so on will give you decent stats.
Results-wise Sam has done pretty well. Even 13th isn't that bad.
If he could get us playing consistently attractive football I think that most fans would give him a second chance.

Pardew had a season more in the Championship but was pretty much break even on the transfer front. Allardyce on the other hand has had unmatched spending power!

Both good managers...but BFS has a better Prem record...and hasnt had affairs with players wives like Pardew...Allegedly...

Any manager who can stay in a Premiership job for as long as Pardew and Allardyce have, is doing something right.
Strange to think that Allardyce is the second longest serving Premiership manager behind Wenger.

Pardew really had to rebuild the club from the bottom up
BFS had more backing finically than Pardew could ever had wished for the first year we went down
So that should be taken into consideration , plus he got us in the cup final
